Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Attending Physician to join our team at Jackson West Medical Center's Emergency Department. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, lead medical teams, and contribute to the development of our emergency medicine program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical management of patient care programs, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management.
  • Lead medical teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement standards of patient care, including quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with radiology, pathology, surgery, medical oncology, and nursing teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in educational programs, conferences, and meetings to maintain job competency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Valid Florida Medical License
  • Active DEA and board certification (ABEM/AOBEM)
  • 3-5 years of related experience in emergency medicine
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS/ATLS for Healthcare Providers
