We're seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Emory University Hospital in Alpharetta, GA. As a member of our Rehabilitation Services department, you will be working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Job

This role will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations, treatments, and education for patients and families. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that meet each patient's unique needs. Your expertise will include assessing patient problems, instructing and training patients and family members on pertinent aspects of care, and modifying treatment plans as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive evaluations, treatments, and education to patients and families;">
  • Maintains an established inventory of supplies and ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment;">
  • Communicates regularly with patient care teams, patients, family members, and other stakeholders;">
  • Assesses patient problems and identifies areas for improvement;">
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals;">
  • Modifies treatment plans based on patient responses and progress;">
  • Provides direct patient care and performs specialized treatments according to patient plans;">
  • Documents patient information accurately and maintains confidentiality;">
  • Practices organizational and universal standards for sterile technique and infection control.">

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a degree from a Physical Therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). A licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association are also required.
