Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Operations Manager to join our team at ABB. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by supervising and managing the building soft and hard service operations. Your role will involve leading the planning and implementation of maintenance, testing, and inspection schedules to ensure the facility team operates in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate operating expenses, including repair and maintenance services, cleaning services, security services, utility expenses, energy costs, and common areas maintenance.
  • Supervise and manage the building soft and hard service operations.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of maintenance, testing, and inspection schedules.
  • Ensure all fire safety equipment and systems undergo proper maintenance, inspection, and testing.
  • Maintain records of compliance certificates.
  • Assess buildings and recommend actions for improvement in line with ABB's Green Real Estate approach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of directly related experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines.
  • Background/experience with building permits and inspection with local authorities.
  • Experience with AutoCad drawings.
