Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

At Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers, to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • Board eligibility in Nuclear Medicine.
  • 2 years' experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
  • AAS degree in nuclear medicine or a related field.
