About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at FutureRecruit. As a senior member of our psychiatric care team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to adolescent residents with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
">Responsibilities

- Providing ongoing psychiatric care to adolescent residents, including routine and emergency assessments, diagnostic clarification, and treatment recommendations.">
- Coordinating care before and during admission and post-discharge, ensuring seamless transitions for our clients.">
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians and educating clients on a weekly basis, fostering strong relationships and trust.">
- Attending weekly treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.">
- Serving as a liaison between the Director of Nursing, Clinical Director, and other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care.">
- Assessing and screening patients, conducting psychiatric evaluations, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing to develop effective treatment plans.">
- Developing and implementing treatment plans, measuring progress against the plan, and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.">
- Collaborating with case managers and other stakeholders to coordinate treatment and care, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient well-being.">
- Completing all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards and guidelines.">
Requirements

- Current and valid Board Certification in Psychiatry is essential for this role.">
- Experience working with adolescents (aged 12-17) is preferred, but not required.">
- A medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency are mandatory.">
- A license to practice medicine in the state of CA is also required.">
