Job Summary:

CB&A Project Management Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Outage Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating outage activities within the utilities, distribution, and transmission sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain outage schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather necessary project information and incorporate it into the outage schedule.
  • Analyze project schedules for potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitor and update schedules regularly, reflecting any changes in project scope, timelines, or resources.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure adherence to the schedule and adjust as necessary based on field conditions and progress.
  • Prepare detailed reports and schedule updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and progress.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project status.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures in all scheduling activities.
  • Utilize scheduling data to support project cost control, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outage scheduling within the utilities, distribution, or transmission industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and outage coordination.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in scheduling.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards in utilities and transmission.
