Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banker III to join our team at Seacoast Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for driving business development and executing sales strategies to acquire new commercial business within our market area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to maintain the quality, profitability, and growth of business and consumer products.
  • Drive Sales Efforts: Demonstrate effective sales strategies to attract, expand, and retain customer relationships.
  • Collect and Analyze Customer Data: Collect and analyze customer and prospect financials to assess viability and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Structure Complex Loans and Deposits: Identify and structure large, complex loan and deposit opportunities that optimize credit quality and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate portfolio management functions with Credit Analysts and Commercial Banking Assistants to ensure effective execution of role responsibilities.
  • Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain knowledge of banking products, programs, services, and promotions, and ensure adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related major, or 6 years of comparable experience.
  • Commercial Banking Experience: Ten or more years of proven success in Commercial Banking, with a demonstrated record of relationship building with business, civic, and governmental organizations.
  • Analytical and Sales Skills: Ability to analyze markets, identify prospects, develop, and execute consultative, value-added sales techniques and strategies.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to meet and exceed established targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
