Concrete Artisan

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Artisan to join our team. As a Concrete Artisan, you will be responsible for creating high-quality concrete structures and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Adhere to all company safety programs, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local safety codes and regulations.
• Create tools and plug-ins using various materials such as concrete, plaster, epoxy, foam, urethanes, and silicon.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning the work area, including moving equipment and cleaning hoses as needed.
• Listen and comprehend artistic direction from leads and follow instructions to complete tasks.
• Work with a variety of tools, including mason tools, hopper guns, drill mixing paddles, pressure washers, shop vacs, and shovels.
• Collaborate with teammates across the job, demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to help when needed.
• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently until the job is completed within deadlines.

• Adhere to all company safety programs, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local safety codes and regulations.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of carving techniques and a broad collection of tools used in completing this work.
• Familiarize yourself with peripheral jobs required to complete the work, including pump and mixing operations, basic understanding of mixes used for structure/texture, and reinforcing completion.
• Create an acceptable artistic product and complete tasks with moderate oversight and guidance.
• Evaluate whether materials are applied properly based on specifications, adhere correctly, and reach the correct depth.
• Properly shape and scratch the structure coat.
• Listen and comprehend artistic direction from leads, offer ideas and experience if solicited, and respectfully follow their lead in task completion.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning the work area and act to assist the pump team during shoots if issues arise with the hose.
• Note integration elements within the work, know how to finish these elements, and execute proper procedures.
• Create texture pads when needed for work.
• Properly prepare and waterproof the work based on specified materials.

• Adhere to all company safety programs, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local safety codes and regulations.
• Create a high-level artistic product from beginning to end with minimal oversight or guidance.
• Extrapolate from reference material what materials are needed, steps to take, tools required, and protection needed, and set these in motion without additional oversight.
• Evaluate the task, understand which tools/materials are needed, and outline work for the day with the most efficient workflow.
• Evaluate whether the pump is shooting properly and materials are being applied correctly to the wall at the correct depth as per job specs.
• Relay artistic direction to team members if confusion arises, clearly conveying the message.
• Teach techniques to fellow workers and assess if people on the team need corrective measures and/or additional training with techniques.
• Listen, comprehend, and converse about artistic direction from Art Directors, offering ideas and experience if solicited, and respectfully following their lead in task completion.
• Manage a clean and organized work area that showcases professionalism.
