Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist: Nuclear Medicine to join our team at FlexStaff Careers. As a key member of our nuclear medicine department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures utilizing appropriate equipment and technique.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures utilizing appropriate equipment and technique
  • Position patients appropriately to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely under the direction of the nuclear medicine physician
  • Collect and process data, and archive studies in PACS
  • Perform quality control on imaging and gamma counting equipment
  • Provide safe and appropriate patient care, minimizing discomfort and ensuring a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • Completion of two (2) years American Medical Association approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, required
  • Licensed by the State of New York to practice Nuclear Medicine, required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Certified by the ARRT or NMTCB, required
