Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to fill a 13-week Nuclear Medicine position in a short-term acute care hospital in Arlington, Texas.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and monitor patients' responses to interventions.
  • Conduct respiratory therapy procedures, including pulmonary function tests and oxygen therapy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a Nuclear Medicine setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, as well as stand for long periods.
