Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Williamson Health.

About the Job

The Registered Nurse NICU will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough assessments of patients, identifying needs, and developing personalized care plans
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
  • Providing education to patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Taking charge responsibilities and assigning staff according to patient needs and unit acuity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
