Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Pavilion team on a part-time basis, working nights. As a Cardiac Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients. You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
  • Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Experience: 1 year of RN experience preferred
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
