Job Summary

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved technique and ALARA Limits, under the direction of a Radiologist.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, provide instruction to patients, and utilize aseptic techniques to assist the interventional radiologist.
  • Practice established principles of radiation safety and protection, and demonstrate effective use of radiographic equipment and computer systems.
  • Provide thorough and accurate documentation, including obtaining pertinent medical information and reviewing physicians' orders.
  • Ensure accurate inventory supply par levels for all Interventional products utilized.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) and licensed by the State of New Jersey DEP.
  • CPR certification required.
