Job Title: North East Territory Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a North East Territory Sales Director.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory in the United States. This role requires a proactive individual with strong relationship-building skills, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of products and market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals.
  • Collaboration with Inside Sales Team: Work closely with the Inside Sales team to coordinate efforts on existing and new projects, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Neugart's products and services, effectively communicating the benefits and features to customers and prospects.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and territory performance, providing insights to the Vice President.
  • Travel: Travel within the assigned territory as necessary to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and support business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in managing and growing a sales territory, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
      • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and solutions.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
