Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Roessel Joy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, including tasks such as onboarding and offboarding, benefits and leave, training and development, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to onboarding and offboarding, benefits and leave, training and development, and employee engagement.
* Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
* Facilitate the onboarding of employees, conducting new hire orientation, ensuring completion of required onboarding documentation, and developing training agendas.
* Facilitate the offboarding of employees, coordinating with other departments, conducting exit interviews, and disseminating necessary paperwork.
* Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of group benefit programs, including health, retirement, and other leave benefits, managing the open enrollment process and providing guidance to employees on options.
* Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
* Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
* Gauge employee satisfaction with focus groups and engagement surveys, planning and coordinating a variety of employee engagement events, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, charitable events, and wellness initiatives.
* Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Director of HR.
* Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
* Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices, reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
* Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
