Fleet Maintenance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial vehicles.
Salary: $32 per hour plus a $10,000 retention bonus, making this a highly competitive opportunity in the industry.
Job Description:As a Fleet Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Performing preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Completing documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
- Handling road service calls and performing road rescues as needed.
You will work closely with our drivers and other maintenance personnel to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and meet regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience as a commercial diesel mechanic or reefer technician.
- A strong understanding of EPA and OSHA regulations as they apply to the maintenance shop and fleet.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
