Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Global Payer Access Manager who will lead the market access strategy and development of payer and reimbursement marketing initiatives for therapies within our rare franchise. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison aligning brand strategy to market access and reimbursement priorities, with the ultimate goal of optimizing the access & reimbursement process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment and coordination of Market Access & Reimbursement strategies with the US Brand teams. They will establish a value narrative and execute multichannel campaigns to deliver it; liaise with Global Value & Access / HEOR teams and US Brand teams to build messaging tailored to various stakeholders, including government and private payers, health plans, and PBMs.

The Global Payer Access Manager will collaborate with National/Regional Account teams and field reimbursement teams to understand field needs; design and execute impactful tactics and programs. They will develop strategies and frameworks for access and reimbursement engagement. Develop pull/push-through strategies and tactics and roll out to the field reimbursement team effectively.

This role requires strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forward, establish budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health care delivery and payment/insurance systems in the US.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the market access strategy and development of payer and reimbursement marketing initiatives for therapies within our rare franchise.
  • Ensure alignment and coordination of Market Access & Reimbursement strategies with the US Brand teams.
  • Establish a value narrative and execute multichannel campaigns to deliver it.

  • Manage vendor agency of record as well as regulatory & legal materials review process.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. 5+ years pharma and/or biotech commercial experience; minimum 2 years in payer/reimbursement/patient services space. Strong understanding of health care delivery and payment/insurance systems in the US. Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forward, establish budgets and timelines.

Estimated Salary:$123,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
