Facilities Management (FM) plays a vital role in serving the entire campus, providing maintenance, grounds, and custodial services. As a key steward of the University's facilities, FM is responsible for facility assessments, skilled trades, general construction, building care, grounds, recycling, asbestos, and the management of planned, corrective, and preventive maintenance.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an expert plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installation of and the maintenance on all building and/or utilities distribution piping systems associated with the plumber, pipefitter, and sprinklerfitter trade.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A high school diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the plumbing or related field.
- Belonging to the local Plumbers Union or being able to join within 30 days after starting employment at Cornell.
- A valid US driver's license; may be required to operate a motor vehicle (your own vehicle or Cornell-owned) to travel to/from job sites.

This is a Contract, union position within the BTC. The starting pay rate is $40.47/hour.
