Specimen Processor I

Job Summary:
Creative Testing Solutions is seeking a highly detail-oriented Specimen Processor I to join our team. As a Specimen Processor I, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and preparing donor plasma and serum samples for testing in a high-volume source plasma testing laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming samples in preparation for testing.
- Process sample cancellations and resubmissions.
- Perform daily sample reconciliation.
- Process sample resubmissions and cancellations.
- Perform refrigerator, freezer, and instrument routine maintenance.
- Clean and disinfect work areas, and empty biohazardous waste.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- No previous related experience is required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must possess legible and neat handwriting.
- Must have basic math and computer skills, effective phone and interpersonal communication skills.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- 5+ hours per shift: Sitting, Standing Handling. Finger dexterity, Pinching
- 3- 5 hours per shift: Lifting to 30 pounds
- Up to 3 hours per shift: Walking Climbing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, reaching waist to shoulder, reaching knee to waist, reaching floor to knee, grasping items, carrying/move items up to 30 pounds
