Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at BSW Medical Center - Plano. As a key member of our critical care team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition support and education to patients in need.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition and experience working in critical care settings. You will be responsible for conducting thorough nutrition assessments, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nutrition Assessments: Conduct comprehensive nutrition evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans to meet patient goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Patient Education: Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
  • Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential required.
  • At least 24 months of clinical practice experience in critical care settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
