Role Summary

This role is responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of early-stage pre-Series A clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the tech startup ecosystem and possess a deep understanding of the business trends impacting the startup ecosystem and venture capital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquiring and managing a portfolio of early-stage pre-Series A clients
  • Managing relationships with startup founders and cross-selling bank products and services
  • Coordinating with cross-functional SVB teams to deliver world-class service to clients
  • Leading engagement with high potential prospects, clients, and ecosystem channel partners

Requirements

  • High School or GED plus 6 years of Banking or Relationship Management experience OR Bachelors degree plus 2 years of Banking or Relationship Management experience
  • Prior experience as a startup founder, operator, investor, or ecosystem builder
  • Domain expertise in technology and the innovation economy
  • Strong communication, negotiation, marketing and closing skills
  • Highly skilled relationship builder with a passion for creating a strong client experience
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize
