Relationship Development Specialist

Role Summary
This role is responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of early-stage pre-Series A clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the tech startup ecosystem and possess a deep understanding of the business trends impacting the startup ecosystem and venture capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquiring and managing a portfolio of early-stage pre-Series A clients
- Managing relationships with startup founders and cross-selling bank products and services
- Coordinating with cross-functional SVB teams to deliver world-class service to clients
- Leading engagement with high potential prospects, clients, and ecosystem channel partners
Requirements
- High School or GED plus 6 years of Banking or Relationship Management experience OR Bachelors degree plus 2 years of Banking or Relationship Management experience
- Prior experience as a startup founder, operator, investor, or ecosystem builder
- Domain expertise in technology and the innovation economy
- Strong communication, negotiation, marketing and closing skills
- Highly skilled relationship builder with a passion for creating a strong client experience
- Ability to manage time and prioritize
