Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices and using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in GMP environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a large production environment with GMP - Clean standards.
