GSOC Manager

We are seeking an experienced security leader to join our team as the Global Security Operations Center Manager at Stripe. This role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the GSOC, ensuring the security of our employees, events, and offices, and supporting global business objectives.
Responsibilities- GSOC Program Management: Manage the GSOC program, including planning and executing a strategy to optimize the efficacy of the team, systems, and processes.
- Risk-Based Security Operations: Serve as the hub for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting risks and threats that may affect the business.
- Travel Safety and Security: Oversee travel safety and security protocols and processes to effectively monitor and track employee travel for potential disruptions and geopolitical risks.
- Mass Communication and Monitoring: Manage a mass communication and near real-time monitoring platform and other tools within the GSOC to maximize their utility and function.
- Quality Assurance and Auditing: Develop and implement a quality assurance program for auditing and troubleshooting software systems with a focus on preventative maintenance and early detection of potential issues.
- Team Management: Build and manage a team that scales with the business, with regionally effective management groups that are localized for maximum effectiveness.
- Service Provider Management: Effectively manage service provider and contracted staff to ensure an effective risk-based program operating within a developed set of standard operating procedures.
- At least 5+ years of experience working at a multinational company, with responsibility for a global security operation center and demonstrated experience managing contracted staff.
- Solid understanding of core physical security risks and threats, and experience in developing effective and measurable programs in an international setting.
- Great understanding of metrics collection and analysis. Superior presentation skills and writing required.
- A strategic mindset with a service attitude, constantly working towards satisfying the needs of our customers.
- Ability to manage resources to budget forecast.
- Extreme organizational skills, communication skills, hyper responsiveness, leadership excellence.
- At least 2 years in an intelligence function at a multinational company or in government.
We offer a competitive salary range of $161,400 - $242,000, plus additional benefits, including equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
