Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Architect to join our team at Watershed Security. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure systems that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, with a focus on system security and risk management. You will be responsible for evaluating and integrating indications and warning and situation monitoring for programs, as well as supporting technical efforts and liaison with program sponsors and DoD NC3 program leadership.

You will also be responsible for understanding various tactical radios AN/PRC-117G, AN/ARC-210 and AN/USC-61 systems with Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) software changes and over-the-air testing of ground systems. Additionally, you will process RMF A&A packages related to various MUOS ground systems Authorized To Connect (ATC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and integrate indications and warning and situation monitoring for programs

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has a strong background in information security. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in IT with a focus in RMF and A&A package development experience, preferably working as an ISSE or in a similar information system security role
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 rev 4 as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)
  • Experience working in a DoD environment structure and system acquisition
