We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success.
  • Stay up-to-date with research-based practices and developments in special education.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
  • State teaching license and/or certification in special education.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, and/or other related disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
