Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Shelton Next Steps, a long-term civil commitment acute 16-bed Evaluation & Treatment Center in Thurston County. The LPN will provide recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment, including medications, as prescribed by the physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program and current licensure in the state of operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
