About the Role:

  • Design construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models.
  • Prepare engineering designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.
  • Analyze project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
  • Develop construction specifications, plans, and schedules to produce engineering documents.
  • Research and comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
  • SUCCESSFULLY SUPPORT ONGOING COASTAL / WATER PRACTICE THROUGH CONTACTS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS WORKING WITH EPA, ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, NOAA, LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL AGENCIES, AS WELL AS PRIVATE SECTOR CLIENTS.

About Moffatt & Nichol:

Salary: $104,400 to $127,600 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualifications.

Working Conditions: Majority of work is office-based, with some site visits requiring navigation of unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
