Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team in providing expert patient care and contributing to our innovative cardiovascular program. This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures, while working collaboratively with cardiologists and providing mentorship to new staff and students.


Responsibilities:
  • Prepares equipment before and during procedures
  • Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care
  • Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
  • Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff
  • Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support training required, Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
