About the Position
In this role, you will assist licensed nursing staff in providing care to patients with various medical conditions. You will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional patient care and support the recovery process. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed nursing staff with direct patient care, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting independence and empowerment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing assistant or related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely around the hospital.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
