Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician Supervisor to lead our team at Harris Health System.

About the Position

The Anesthesia Technician Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Anesthesia Department, including training and supervising Anesthesia Technicians, scheduling, and monitoring performance and competency.

This leadership role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. The successful candidate will be proficient in performing Anesthesia Technician functions and provide support to anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Anesthesia Technicians, including training and supervision
  • Scheduling and management of departmental resources
  • Monitoring and evaluating performance and competency
  • Proficient performance of Anesthesia Technician functions
  • Support to anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an Anesthesia Technology program accredited by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologist or Technician (ASATT)
  • Certification as an Anesthesia Technician
  • Five years of work experience in an Anesthesia Department
  • One year of management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
