Regional Campus Leadership Opportunity in Higher Education

Azusa Pacific University is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Director of our High Desert Regional Campus. As a key member of our university community, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience for our students, fostering a culture of excellence, and building strong relationships within the local community.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to Christian higher education. As the Director of the High Desert Regional Campus, you will be responsible for leading the campus's operations, growth, and development. Your primary focus will be on ensuring effective campus management, enrollment oversight, and collaboration with academic departments to support student success. You will also serve as an ambassador for the university, building and maintaining relationships within the community to enhance the campus's visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Regional Campus Team: Manage the daily operations of the regional campus, ensuring a high-performing team that delivers excellent service to students and faculty.
- Drive Enrollment Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment, manage outreach and recruitment efforts, and lead the admissions recruitment staff to achieve enrollment goals.
- Cultivate Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and businesses to enhance the university's visibility and impact.
- Collaborate with Academic Departments: Work closely with program directors and chairs to ensure effective outreach to prospective students and delivery of academic programs at the regional location.
- Ensure Compliance and Excellence: Oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines at the regional campus, ensuring compliance with federal, state, university, and departmental regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Master's Degree: A master's degree is required (or in process). Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Leadership Experience: A minimum of five to ten years of progressive management/leadership experience, preferably in higher education or a related field.
- Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and oral presentation. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong leadership, management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Christian Values and Principles: A strong commitment to Christian values and principles, with the ability to integrate these into all aspects of the leadership position.
Azusa Pacific University offers a competitive salary and benefits package for this role. The estimated annual salary for this position is $79,253 to $91,141, reflecting the university's commitment to compensating its employees fairly and in line with industry standards.
