Job Description

The Front Desk Customer Service Representative is a vital position at La Quinta Charleston - Riverview, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding local amenities, services, and attractions.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and credit policies are followed.
  • Stay up-to-date on all rates, packages, and special promotions.
  • Maintain awareness of in-house groups and restricted dates.
  • Process room reservations accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hospitality terminology and procedures.
  • Participate in emergency response efforts as needed.
  • Manage check-ins and checkouts with a friendly, efficient, and courteous demeanor.
  • Foster effective communication using two-way radio etiquette.
  • Maintain proficiency in the Front Desk computer system.
  • Complete shift checklists promptly and accurately.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • College coursework in a related field can be beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn hotel-specific systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Estimated Salary Range

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on location and experience.
