Professor of Government and Politics

Lee College is seeking a qualified Professor of Government and Politics to instruct dual credit courses in our service area.
As a full-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching freshmen and sophomore government and politics courses with an emphasis on providing instruction to dual credit populations at ISD partners within our service area.
This position requires you to maintain accurate student records, submit required student reports, and direct, evaluate, and assess the learning experience of students in accordance with adopted curricula and approved procedures.
You will also participate in campus-related committees, recruit for and promote the government and politics program, and participate in professional development activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's (or higher) degree in government or political science, or a related field with 18 graduate hours in government/political science.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated educators who are passionate about student learning and success.
