About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at NSC Technologies in Muscle Shoals, AL. This is a contract opportunity that requires assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.

The ideal candidate will possess a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset while working as a team player. They must have exposure to working with various cables, including twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, CAT-5, CAT-6, single & multi mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull and terminate low voltage cable
  • Hang APs
  • Install J Hooks
  • Read blueprints
Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points
  • Lift 50+lbs
  • Must be able to follow directions and learn
  • Must have prior commercial new construction experience
