About the Role

This role is crucial in ensuring that every batch meets our high standards for purity and effectiveness. As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll collaborate with our team to maintain rigorous standards for quality, cleanliness, and consistency in our manufacturing process.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Lead on fermentation operations and operate specialized equipment such as ribbon mixers, water pumps, and steam sterilizers.
• Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for substrate preparation, inoculation, fermentation, and extraction, including accurate weighing, measuring, and quality checks.
• Document each step meticulously, recording operational parameters, observations, and photographs to maintain traceability and support internal quality control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free laboratory environment, adhering to stringent sanitation and sterilization protocols.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations, actively contributing to a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to perform physical labor over 6-8 hours, including standing for extended periods and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude, showing pride in delivering high-quality, independent work.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management to ensure consistency and quality across batches.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving production needs.
• Experience with fungal or microbial cultures is preferred, especially in mushroom cultivation or similar biological processes.
• Competency with basic calculations, Excel for data entry and the Microsoft office suite.
