Diesel Fleet Technician Specialist

The Diesel Fleet Technician Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Performance Foodservice's fleet of diesel equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing complex problems to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision.
- Identify root causes of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required.
- Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration prior to being deemed as 'roadworthy'.
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
The Diesel Fleet Technician Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals.
Requirements- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
- $30.00 per hour or more based on experience.
- Sunday-Thursday 6:00pm - 2:00am.
- $5,000 Sign on Bonus (Terms Apply).
