Our team seeks a Phlebotomist/Medical Receptionist - Float (Flex Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to deliver exceptional patient experiences at our offices. This role involves providing top-notch venipuncture services, managing dispensary responsibilities, and other clinical support services as an ambassador for patients.

You will be part of a collaborative team that supports multiple offices in a Market, working closely with Leads, Office Managers, and in-office providers to deliver customer-centric solutions. As you grow and develop your skills through rounding, attending team huddles, and participating in problem-solving activities, you will have opportunities to excel in this dynamic environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver best-in-class venipuncture services to patients of all ages.
  • Perform extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.
  • Continuously care for members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and the virtual medical team with clerical duties.
  • Use impeccable C-I-CARE skills in all patient interactions and ensure a positive in-office experience through patient intake, same-day schedule management, and follow-up scheduling.
Your Qualifications
  • A graduate of a postsecondary Medical Assistant program or relevant training from a branch of the armed forces or a certifying organization.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
  • Experience working on collaborative teams and a proven ability to display confidence and trust during the collection process while delivering individualized care.

This is a full-time role with 8-hour shifts generally taking place between 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Saturday, based in Gilbert, AZ. Your location and schedule may be subject to change.
