**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Mirum Pharmaceuticals. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with thought leaders and other healthcare professionals in the gastroenterology and hepatology fields.

About the Role:

  • Identify and develop professional relationships with key opinion leaders, study investigators, and professional organizations in gastroenterology and hepatology.
  • Support research initiatives across clinical development and provide support to study site investigators.
  • Serve as a liaison between HCPs interested in investigator-initiated research with Mirum to facilitate review and consideration of research proposals.
  • Engage in scientific exchange in response to thought leader requests.
  • Provide education relative to adult and pediatric liver disease and Mirum's approved and investigational products throughout the lifecycle.
  • Communicate thought leader insights and observations to medical affairs and clinical development on a timely basis.
  • Effectively articulate relevant scientific and clinical information relative to the therapeutic area to HCPs and researchers.
  • Utilize scientific resources to deliver impactful presentations to varying audiences.
  • Provide accurate and unbiased assessment of community needs to senior management.
  • Stay abreast of emerging scientific literature and clinical trial data in both pediatric and adult gastroenterology and hepatology.

Requirements:

  • Advanced science or clinical degree (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA).
  • 5+ years MSL experience preferred.
  • Prior experience as a MSL in gastroenterology, hepatology, and/or rare disease highly preferred.
  • Established relationships with gastroenterology and/or hepatology thought leaders is highly desired.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Able to travel frequently, up to 60% overnight travel, and has a valid drivers' license.

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
