Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

At Micron Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our DRAM products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and test materials, collect data, and report on failures for DRAM.
  • Work with technical engineering groups to determine operational state of material and fail defects.
  • Perform System Level Testing (SLT) on DRAM modules, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testing on DRAM components, and pretest on bench level testers of various configurations.
  • Prioritize requests, schedule or request new equipment, and coordinate vendor repairs.
  • Handle documentation and provide training as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A basic understanding of DRAM memory function and architecture.
  • Proven computer hardware and operating system knowledge.
  • Unix/Linux user commands - highly valued.
  • Programming/scripting background a plus.
  • Experience with soldering, PCB rework.
Education and Experience:
  • Two-year industry-related associate degree; working towards a STEM-related degree; or equivalent military training and experience.
  • 2 years of experience in any of the following: Automated test/debug equipment, Hardware and Software configurations, Semiconductor Manufacturing.
