Pizza Cook

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pizza Cook to join our team at Tomato Bar, a premium pizza concept located in Valparaiso, IN. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for hand-tossing pizza dough, assembling and topping pizzas and calzones, baking them in our stone oven, and expediting orders to the front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
• Clean and sanitize food preparation work stations
• Assist in food preparation by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
• Follow all food health and safety requirements
• Communicate kitchen needs to managers

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a pizza kitchen, physical ability to stand for an entire shift, willingness to work weekends and nights, strong teamwork and communication skills, and existing knowledge of food safety procedures. Competitive salary $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including 75% company-paid health insurance, paid time off, sick time, flexible scheduling, employee discounts, and 401(k) benefits with company matching.
