MRG Exams, a leader in medical examination services, is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team as a Comprehensive Eye Exam Specialist. This part-time role involves performing comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and conducting thorough eye exams. They will also complete forms through the Web Portal, ensuring timely submission within 24 hours after each exam.

As a Comprehensive Eye Exam Specialist, you will work independently, assessing 3-6 veterans per day on average. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings.

We are looking for an Optometrist who is interested in serving veterans in their community and has a strong commitment to providing high-quality eye care assessments. The ideal candidate must hold a current license as an Optometrist in the State where exams are performed and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans
  • Reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal
  • Completing forms through the Web Portal within 24 hours after each exam
  • Meeting the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A current license as an Optometrist in the State where exams are performed
  • The ability to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
