Senior Caregiver and Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a valued member of our community, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
This is a full-time position that requires a passion for delivering exceptional care and support to seniors. You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our interdisciplinary team to provide personalized care and services tailored to meet their unique needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities- BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a designated group of residents, providing emotional support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.
- CARE PLAN IMPLEMENTATION: Work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
- LIFE ENRICHMENT: Engage residents in life-enriching activities, such as arts and crafts, music, and exercise programs, promoting their physical and cognitive well-being.
- RISK MANAGEMENT: Participate in risk management initiatives, ensuring the safety and security of our residents and staff.
- Dedication to serving seniors with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Competency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the best interest of our residents.
