Job Overview

Champions Group Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide vital support in various areas, including employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll management, and workers' compensation claims.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 100% on-site in Mukilteo, WA. You will be responsible for co-managing new hire orientation and welcome events, ensuring proper setup in ADP, and distributing and collecting new hire paperwork. Additionally, you will provide basic HR support to employees, answer employment-related questions, and monitor the HR inbox.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute the employee onboarding process, ensuring seamless transition from hiring to active status.
  • Manage employee files, maintain compliance with labor laws, and handle workers' compensation and general liability claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering basic employment-related questions, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Facilitate the offboarding process, notify payroll of final checks, and ensure proper execution of necessary paperwork.
  • Process payroll changes, updates, and ad hoc reports as required.
  • Collaborate with managers to review timecards, wage adjustments, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Support claim management for workers' compensation and auto insurance-related matters.
  • Communicate leave requests and policies to employees, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably with knowledge of best practices and procedures.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn HRIS management systems quickly.
  • Experience working with outside payroll companies, such as Paychex, Workday, or ADP, a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
