Avita of Stroudwater is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the cultural tone and providing visionary leadership to our staff. Your role will encompass the supervision of our dedicated team, ensuring that every team member contributes positively to our mission. You will be responsible for ensuring that all community operations meet and exceed regulatory requirements, while inspiring a culture of integrity, compassion, and respect. This position requires a valid Administrator's license in the State of Maine. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management
  • Represent the company and the community in a professional, positive, and personable manner
  • Maintain the records of the community in compliance with regulatory requirements, including confidentiality
  • Interview, select, and hire staff, ensuring adherence to the company's hiring policies
Community Operations
  • Assist in the sales process from inquiry through move-in, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new residents
  • Plan, organize, and implement the policies and procedures of the company as it relates to a specific community
  • Walk and inspect the community on a daily basis
Financial Management
  • Prepare the annual budget and monthly reporting of budget to actual, to be submitted
Qualifications
  • Valid Administrator's license in the State of Maine
  • 3-5 years experience working in the geriatric field, memory care preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services or equivalent, Master's preferred
  • Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, and the public

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
