Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure cost-effective and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient history and physical examinations, diagnostic testing, test interpretation, treatment, and patient follow-up to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Make referrals to physicians and other healthcare providers as necessary, documenting assessment, management, and education clearly within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Participate in surgical procedures, including assisting with surgeries and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provide post-operative care, write orders in the recovery room, communicate with family members, and perform post-operative procedures as needed.
  • Dictate discharge summaries, prescribe medications, explain discharge instructions, and confirm follow-up appointments to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  • Monitor and report any changes or systems issues in patients' conditions promptly.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited NP/PA program is required.
  • Current licensure as a NP/PA in the State of South Carolina in good standing (SCLLR) is required.
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
  • Board Certification is essential.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
