The Phlebotomist serves as the primary liaison between the laboratory and interacts with physicians, guests, family members, and other hospital staff to obtain or clarify lab information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of venipuncture techniques involved in the collection of blood specimens from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Read and communicate effectively with basic computer knowledge required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent with minimum experience of one year as a phlebotomist.
- Medical assistance or phlebotomy certification preferred.
