Advanced Medical Care Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Advanced Medical Care Professional to join our team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME.
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse I will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to assigned patients, as well as supervising other qualified staff members. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Patient Safety: Provides safe and effective patient care by using best practices during hand-off communication and when reporting patient care information.
- Clinical Assessments: Performs and documents systematic assessments according to established criteria, recognizing and responding to abnormal diagnostic data.
- Caring & Code of Conduct: Develops and maintains a professional and personable relationship with patients/families and staff, treating patients with courtesy and respect.
- Documentation: Accurately and completely documents patient information, adhering to hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Population-Specific Competency: Provides culturally competent care to patients and families, completing population-specific mandatory education competencies as defined by the unit specific scope of service.
- Education: High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)
- Credentials: Required Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
The Registered Nurse I will work in a dynamic healthcare environment, lifting, moving, and loading 30-50 pounds, and working alternate shift schedules (day, evening, nights, weekends).
Estimated Salary Range$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
