As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work with various, complex HM&E systems in support of the Government HM&E Manager and Support Manager.

Concentration may include knowledge in the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) standards as well as Navy's Standards and requirements.

Key areas of focus:

  • Auxiliary's system and Deck Systems.

Previous HM&E, Merchant Marine, or Navy experience is highly desirable and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Marine or Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture is required.

This position is contingent to hire upon contract award.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in Marine Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Experience with applicable codes and standards (ABS, NVR, NFPA, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
  • 5+ years DoD/Navy program management, Government, or Industry technical management.
  • 3 years experiences with ship Auxiliary or Deck systems.
