Job Summary

The CalSTRS Employer Services Division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Audits Resolution Team as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. This role will involve working closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely reporting by employers to CalSTRS, while also providing education and support to employers to ensure compliance with the Teachers Retirement Law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex analytical activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting by employers to CalSTRS.
  • Collaborate with the Audits Resolution Team to identify and resolve issues related to employer reporting.
  • Provide education and support to employers to ensure compliance with the Teachers Retirement Law.
  • Work closely with the CalSTRS Audit Services team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements
  • Ability to interpret retirement laws, rules, and policies.
  • Dedicated and dependable, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments.
  • Experience in working with computer applications, such as MS Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
