Job Summary

The Houseperson at MCR Hotels is a vital member of our housekeeping team, responsible for supporting the housekeeping team as needed, as well as cleaning and maintaining other areas of the hotel, including public spaces and back of the house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Housekeeping Team: Assist housekeepers with tasks as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  2. Clean and Maintain Public Spaces: Clean and maintain guest hallways, stairwells, service areas, and ice rooms to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  3. Collect and Deliver Linen and Trash: Collect trash and soiled linen from housekeepers and deliver to the laundry room, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  4. Deliver Guest Requests: Deliver and retrieve guest requests in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  5. Monitor and Report Issues: Monitor the placement and condition of public space furniture and report any issues to management, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  6. Restock and Replenish: Restock guest floor linen closets and guest amenities, ensuring a well-stocked and organized environment.
  7. Assist with Guest Room Preparation: Assist housekeepers in stripping linen and trash from guest rooms as needed, ensuring a clean and ready environment for guests.
  8. Replenish Amenities and Supplies: Replenish amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
  9. Stock and Maintain Housekeeping Cart: Stock and maintain housekeeping carts, ensuring a well-equipped and efficient operation.
  10. Provide Excellent Customer Service: Treat guests and team members in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  11. Be Knowledgeable about the Hotel: Be knowledgeable about the hotel and its amenities, providing guests with accurate and helpful information.
  12. Follow a Checklist: Ability to follow a checklist and complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  13. Store and Retrieve Luggage: Store and retrieve luggage or packages for guests in storage areas, as needed, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Requirements
